WanderClarity
Privacy Policy
WanderClarity is operated by Sabih Hussain Siddiqui. Maya Carter is the pen name used by the site owner. We publish travel-planning, destination, and budgeting information. Our primary audience is in the United States, and visitors from around the world are welcome.
Information you provide
Contact form
If you contact us, the form asks for your first and last name, email address, and message. These fields are required; the subject field is optional. The information is used to review and respond to your inquiry. A notification is sent by email to the site owner. WPForms Lite does not store entries in the local WordPress entries database. Lite Connect Entry Backups was enabled briefly and is now disabled. If any entries were backed up during that interval, WPForms documents a one-year retention period for each backed-up entry. The current setting does not establish whether any earlier entries were backed up or deleted. See the WPForms Lite Connect documentation.
For Gmail, the owner plans to delete resolved inquiries within six months after resolution and to retain ongoing inquiries while needed to resolve them. This is a manual owner-managed plan for the mailbox; it does not establish deletion from provider copies, logs, or backups.
Comments
Comments are available on some articles. The comment form asks for your name, email address, and comment; a website address is optional. WordPress also processes technical information such as the commenter’s IP address and browser user-agent for comment handling and spam prevention. A commenter’s email address is not displayed publicly. Comments are held for approval before publication, including comments from people whose earlier comments were approved. Spam, abuse, and irrelevant promotion may be rejected; relevant criticism may be published.
The owner plans to keep approved comments while the associated article remains published, subject to review of removal requests, and to delete spam or rejected comments within 30 days. These are manual practices.
The comment form offers an optional choice to save a name, email address, and website address in cookies for a later comment. If an avatar is displayed with a comment, WordPress may send an anonymized hash of the commenter’s email address to Gravatar to retrieve an image. See Automattic’s Privacy Policy.
Form analytics
WPForms Form Analytics is active on the contact form. It records form-view counts in the WordPress database to help the site owner understand how often the form is viewed. WPForms states that Form Analytics does not set cookies, record personal information, or send its tracking data to outside services. See the WPForms Form Analytics documentation.
Google Search Console is connected to monitor the site’s appearance in search results. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager tracking are not connected or present in the public pages checked. No advertising integration or newsletter signup service was found in the active configuration and public pages checked. The pages and published content checked did not contain third-party embedded content. External links are ordinary links, not affiliate links; external websites have their own privacy practices.
Hosting and service providers
The website is hosted by Hostinger. Contact form notifications are delivered to the site owner’s email inbox. The owner-managed retention practices described above apply to the active inbox and WordPress comment records; they do not promise deletion from service-provider logs, email copies, or backups.
Privacy questions and requests
For a privacy question or request, use the Contact form. The site owner will review the request.
